What version of the DL files do you have?

Okay, I have a small issue, the *.1st file and the updates.xml both are giving me two different bits of information about what version the Dragonlance files are.

So, I cannot put them up for everyone to download unless I am absolutely certain I am not going to be giving everyone an older version. I need to know what version people have, what the file size is for the .user file and when it was created.

If I dont get a satisfactory answer by Monday afternoon I'll just upload what I have, EXCEPT for the Dragonlance content.

I would go with what the updates.xml file says as that is what HL actually uses. The .1st file is FYI for gamers to make it easy to see what the version is. But HL does not actually read it.

You could also just jump the version number up (i.e. If you see 2.5 start at version 3.0) to get everyone goning.

Just some ideas... :)

Well, if I do that and it messes people up? I have no other file to fall back on. And the version is 1.4 (I think). I am jumping to 1.9 because I didn't really add anything. Once I have something major they will all start at 3.0.

The only way to mess everyone up is renaming the files. Even one extra character including a space and you will cause duplicate Thing errors. It is possible to rename files but I don't recommend it.

In my mind making sure you have the correct file names is more important. Is RavenX files totally gone? Couldn't you grab the .hl from his Dropbox to see the version and files?
