Weapon Focus

OK, Issue with weapon focus, and I am not sure if there is a fix. Some of the weapons (i.e. Brass knuckles) don't have a selection in Weapon Focus. Is there a fix?

Some weapons count as others for the purposes of feats. For example you can't take Weapon Focus (Composite Longbow), you have to take Weapon Focus (Longbow) instead which still grants the bonus. Do Brass Knuckles count as an Unarmed Strike maybe? I would think they would, but just guessing here.

That is a very contentious topic on the forum scene Lawful, Can opened Worms everywhere! I personally think that wearing Brass Knuckles turn your unarmed strikes into augmented unarmed strikes that deal lethal damage which would apply for weapon focus unarmed strike but others, and there is a whole slice of Pathfinder Rules lawyers, argue that Brass Knuckles turn Unarmed Strikes into armed strikes so you have to take Weapon Focus brass knuckles as well!
