Hello,

I've had army builder for a while now, and its really a nice
product...makes quick battles for WHFB a snap!

Anyway, started getting into warmaster and downloaded the warmaster
data file. It's nice and all, but a list can get quite large because
you have to list each unit seperatly. I want to make it so you can
increase the amount of units but I'm having trouble finding where it
is to let me do that. I've opened used the tool to copy the datadef
file to a text file and couldnt find it in there, and I've tried
going into the construction kit as well. Once I can fix this so you
can have more then one unit I'll go though and take care of all the
math, I've played with the WHFB orcs a little so I know my way around.

Anyway, thanks for the help and the nice product

brian

The hard way: Augment every unit with a 'size:1-100' local attribute.
The easy way: Complain to whoever it is that writes the Warmaster files,
and ask them to change the unit sizes from '1:1' to '1'. :)

This was considered by myself and by John Connell (whom I often
consult with if I need an opinion) and we decided that it isn't a
good idea for Warmaster. The reason for this is that in Warmaster
units have a fixed size and it only varies once the game has begun
(i.e. some stands from the unit die). Further, it would greatly
complicate adding magic items to units. Generally, most units only
require two lines on the print out so even a large army can usually
be printed on a front and back page.
