Wands and how they output on Standard Character Sheet

I'd like to see caster level added to the Wand Descriptions. Within the portfolio I can deduce the caster level by the item price... not ideal, but at least feasible. No such clue appears on the Standard Character Sheet, neither within the Gear section nor the Charges section. Caster level does appear for many Wand entries (primarily when affects the spell result) in the DMG (page 246, I'm using the Special Edition version, printed October 2005).
