HLO is complaining I have too many coins. So I figured to use the journal to adjust it. After I figured out that hitting the minus button and entering a number wasn't going to work, nor was doing those two things in reverse order, I got the right negative numbers in there, and the right positive. Basically, I exchanged 260 silver for 26 gold, and 330 gold (up from 304) for 33 Platinum. Problem: HLO's moneychanger stole six platinum! I suppose I should bug it.:(
 
in the meantime, you have to do separate transactions to avoid this problem. so instead of adding 330gp and -33pp at the same time, do them one at a time, with separate clicks.
