Version 7.4 of the Pathfinder files for Hero Lab is now available

A new update for the Pathfinder files is now available from the automatic updates mechanism within Hero Lab.

This update adds content from Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Bestiary to the existing Campaign Setting #9 package. This package is available for $4.99, and already contains Artifacts & Legends.

This update also adds the various faction-specific vanities from the Faction Guide for anyone who has purchased the faction guide (Campaign Setting #4, which is a part of the Campaign Setting bundle). We've also got player content from Pathfinder #64, and some bug fixes.

New Releases!

  • Content from Inner Sea Bestiary is now available as part of the Pathfinder Campaign Setting #9 package.
Enhancements & Changes

  • Added player content from Pathfinder #64 "Beyond the Doomsday Door".
  • Vanities from the Faction Guide have been added.
  • Added new options to control how situational modifiers are printed on the character sheet. They can be printed along with the items they apply to, listed all together at the end, both of those options, or neither of those options. To change this, re-open the configure hero window (ctrl-k), and scroll to the very bottom of the Hero Settings options on the right-hand side.
  • The Magical Lineage Trait is now implemented.
Bug Fixes

  • The Reverse-feint feat was missing the Orc race pre-requisite.
  • The Beast Eye hex was missing charges on the In-Play tab, and lacked a summary.
  • The Disguise Hex was generating an incorrect summary.
  • The Green Faith Acolyte's Wild Link ability now adds to Wild Shape correctly.
  • The Hellknight Signifier's Catchesis ability now adds correctly to domain, mystery, and inquisition powers. It also now correctly adds in an extra feat for Alignment Channel (chaos) if the character has Warrior Priest.
  • The Hellknight Signifier's mask now adds to sense motive instead of intimidate.
  • The dwarf's Greed trait now doesn't add its situational bonus if it's replaced by an alternate racial trait.
  • The Weapon Proficiency adjustment was not functioning correctly for the Aldori Dueling sword and other weapons that have special rules associated with taking exotic weapon proficiency, but function as other normal weapons if the user lacks exotic weapon proficiency in them.
  • Circlet of Persuasion was not considering the possibility a skill may have been overridden to use Charisma.
  • Added Situationals to Blinded and Deafened conditions.
  • Animal Growth was not changing Con and Dex corrrectly. Con increased by 2 and Dex did not decrease.
  • Keen Edge Adjustment was throwing an error if the selected weapon was Piercing.
  • Many of the Old d20 SRD animals had been incorrectly converted, and were getting twice as many bonuses to Perception or innate ranks in that skill.
  • Knockback rage power was missing charges on the in-play tab.
  • Internal Fortitude wasn't adding the appropriate immunities when rage was activated.
  • Moment of Clarity had a typo "Switft" in the description.
  • The Swift Foot rage power was showing multiple times on the Specials tab when taken more than once.
  • Several Paladin Mercies were missing SpInfo tags.
  • The Assassin's Death Attack special's description had duplicated text in it.
  • The Duelist's Grace ability was still adding to Ref even when equipping a shield or Medium/Heavy armor.
  • The Loremaster's prereq of 7 ranks in 2 knowledge skills was not counting innate skill ranks.
  • The monk's High Jump ability now adds its Acrobatics bonus to jump starting at level 5 instead of level 1.
  • The bonuses from CON and the Toughness feat were not being added to the HP of an animal companion or eidolon.
  • The Archaeologist's Luck ability was not working correctly.
  • The Oracle had leftover text from the APG playtest version.
  • The Knight of Ozem's longsword proficiency requirement was showing invalid if the character was proficient with all martial weapons.
  • The Ninja's No Trace ability was adding to Disguise only when the ability was activated.
  • Races with more than 20 hit dice were showing an error message about Epic Spellcasting even if they weren't racial spellcasters.
  • Deft Hands' summary was referencing a skill from 3.5 (Use Rope).
  • The Improved Sunder feat had an incorrect summary stating it granted +4 to sunder checks.
  • Lightning stance had an incorrect summary stating it gave cover (rather than concealment).
  • Rapid Reload was allowing you to choose repeating crossbows.
  • The Flame of Guidance artifact was not adding the Fire subtype when equipped.
  • The Construct and Undead types were refering to "Good Healing" in thier description, rather than "Fast Healing".
  • The Stalwart of the Society trait was not adding to the bonus of Aura of Courage.
  • The Vampire's Dominate ability was marked as Extraordinary rather than Supernatural.
  • The Lycanthropic Empathy racial special was generating a bonus for itself similar to a Druid's Wild Empathy, rather than just allowing the use of the diplomacy skill with a flat +4 bonus.
  • The Wizard's Enchanting Smile ability was adding an untyped bonus to the relevant skills, rather than an enhancement bonus.
  • The Power of the Pit Sorcerer Bloodline ability was not adding the See in Darkness ability and Darkvision ability.
  • The Nabasu's Consume Life ability was not increasing the AC, CR, SR, Caster Level for spell like abilities, and Hp when incremented.
  • The Copper Dragon's Trap Master racial ability was not adding to Craft (traps) skill checks.
  • The Vest of the Cockroach was not interacting with the Resiliency Rogue Trick.
  • The Rod of Negation was both showing itself on the In-play tab, and adding the relevant spell on the Spells tab. Now only bootstraps the spell.
  • The Ring of Animal Friendship was not adding the correct spell.
  • The Ring of Regeneration was not adding the Regeneration special.
  • The Ring of Spell Turning was not showing /day on the in-play tab.
  • The Luck Intelligent Item power was not applying any bonus when the item was equipped.
  • The Thunderstone was not appending the correct information to the spells it affects as a power component.
  • The Deft Hands feat was referring to an obsolete skill in it's summary text.
  • The Diehard feat's summary was referring to 3.5 rules in regards to death (I.E. everyone dies at -10).
  • The summary of the Lightning Stance feat was incorrectly stating gave 50% cover, rather than concealment.
  • If you started creating custom/magic ammo, then switched to creating a non-ammo weapon, you would still be creating 50 of them.
  • The cost of materials added to ammunition was not being calculated correctly.
  • The Grappled Condition was applying the penalty to CMB twice.
  • The Elephant Stomp feat had a linebreak in the descrption text.
  • The Overbearing Advance rage power had an unneccessary DC 15.
  • The Savage Grapple rage power now is implemented, and will reduce the penalties applied by the Grappling condition.
  • The Superstitious Barbarian archetype's Darkvision was not correctly increasing existing darkvision.
  • The Calling ability of the Cavalier's Order of the Star custom ability had an incorrect linebreak.
  • The Desert Druid's Shaded Vision class ability was not adding Immunity to Blindness at 9th level.
  • The Mountain Druid's Mountain Stance ability was not adding to CMD vs. several manuever types.
  • The Swamp Druid's Pond Scum ability was granting Immunity to Dazzle.
  • The Urban Druid's Mental Strength ability had the incorrect description, that of the Blight Druid's Blightblooded ability.
  • The Crossbowman Fighter archetype's Quick Sniper ability was calculating the incorrect bonus.
  • The Savage Warrior Fighter archetype's Savage Charge ability had an incorrect linebreak in the description.
  • The Shining Knight Paladin archetype's Knight Charge ability had an incorrect linebreak in the description.
  • The Warrior of the Holy Light Paladin archetype's Power of Light ability had an incorrect linebreak in the description.
  • The great terbutje can now be equipped as a one-handed weapon if you have exotic weapon proficiency in that weapon.
  • Incorrect weapon attack bonuses were being included in d20Pro output.
  • The "+1 Eidolon HP" favored class options that several races could take were not functioning for a synthesist summoner.
