Version 6.17 of the Pathfinder files is now available

Version 6.17 of the Pathfinder files for Hero Lab are now available from the automatic updates mechanism within Hero Lab.

This version adds Giants Revisited. This is the first item in the new Campaign Setting #8 package, which is available for $4.99. This package will eventually be expanded with other books from Paizo's campaign setting line (the exact books will be determined as Paizo publishes more of them).

This release also adds player content from Pathfinder #56 and fixes a few issues. Here's the full change list, copied from the FAQ:

New Releases!

  • Content from Giants Revisited is now available in the new Campaign Setting #8 package.
Enhancements & Changes

  • Added player content from Pathfinder #56, Raiders of the Fever Sea.
  • Archetypes and Custom Special abilities like Domains, Bloodlines, and Wizard Schools now display the information on the abilities they bootstrap.
Bug Fixes

  • The Oracle's Mystery of Life Channel revelation was throwing errors when added to a hero.
  • The witch's class description had a line break in it.
  • The Sociable Half-elf ART was giving skill bonuses as though it were the Integrated ART.
  • The Plagueborn Half-orc ART was giving Sunder CMB bonuses as though it were the Gatecrasher ART.
