Version 4.11 of the Pathfinder files are now available from the automatic updates mechanism within HL. Note that this release requires the 3.6f update of HL itself.

Orcs of Golarion is now Available!

Special Thanks

Enhancements & Changes

  • Prestige journal entries added while a character has only one faction will have that faction already selected as the faction to apply prestige awards to.
  • Added more items to the Spell Adjustments list.
Bug Fixes

  • The Dream Feast and Traveling Dream spells from Pathfinder #2 were missing.
  • The Gifted Adept trait was not offering a full list of spells for selection, and was not applying the CL bonus to the selected spell.
  • Corrected the description text for the Bard's Achivist archetype.
  • Corrected the level of the ghost sound spell-like ability granted by the Oracle's Haunted curse.
  • Greater Elemental Focus was not requiring Elemental Focus as a prereq.
  • Fighting Defensively and Combat Expertise should not be mutually exclusive.
  • Total Defense was listing an error if Combat Expertise was enabled, regardless of whether or not it was enabled.
  • Celestial Armor should not slow the wearer.
  • The Rage Prophet prestige class was not correctly adding its level to Oracle's revelations.
  • The Summoner's Call feat should offer a choice of attributes, rather than adding to all physical attributes.
  • The Gloves of Dueling were not functioning.
  • The Spark spell's components are "V or S".
  • The Ogre race was missing its Darkvision.
  • The Troll race was missing its Darkvision.
  • The Animal Friend trait wasn't being displayed on the Special or In-Play tabs.
  • When created as a custom/magic weapon, the Sword, Aldori Dueling was not becoming a Finesse weapon if the character had an exotic weapon proficiency in its use.
  • The Sneak Attack +2d6, Skill Focus: Performance and Inspire Competence requirements were missing from the Lion Blade prestige class.
  • The Faerie Dragon was not available as an improved familiar.
  • The automatically gained copy of Multiattack was not functioning correctly for Animal Companions and Eidolons.
  • The Dragon Type now grants Intimidate as a class skiil.
Data File Authoring

  • The Melee Touch Attack helper is now tagged with wCategory.Melee.
 
Nevermind, I tried redownloading the update...:) guess first one didn't download correctly.

I have v3.6g and for some reason am unable to upgrade. I've gone through the download/installation process several times and in the end I still have v3.6g. When I click "update" it says that the same updates are still available, which makes me think that they were not installed. Is there something specific that needs to be done to get the upgrade to work?

v3.6g is the version of Hero Lab. v4.11 is the version of Pathfinder data set and they are different.

So if you have 3.6g that is the latest version of Hero Lab. To check your version of Pathfinder start HL and go into Pathfinder. Then from the Help menu click on About Loaded Files...

In the new window it will then tell you what version of the Pathfinder Data set you have installed.
 
Thank you! I indeed have v4.11.

It's a bit confusing, however, because when I run Hero Lab, before selecting Pathfinder it says "New updates available!" at the bottom. Apparently I already have these updates.
 
It depends on whether you have installed any of the other game systems. If you haven't then the updater will highlight every system that has an update.
The blue exclamation mark next to the game system indicates which has an update, if you click that exclamation point you'll just get the update for that one!

I've installed all of them and just update as and when necessary. Even though I don't use them, keeps it nice and tidy.
