A new version of the Shadowrun files for Hero Lab is now available from the automatic updates mechanism within Hero Lab.
This update adds the PC AI and PC Free Spirit rules from Runner's Companion. These options are available to anyone whose purchased the Runner's Companion package.
To see these, scroll further down the normal list of races, past the Metavariants and Sapient Critters.
This update also includes a few bug fixes.

Enhancements & Changes
- Added the Metasapient AIs section of Runner's Companion.
- Added the Free Spirit PCs section of Runner's Companion.
- Starting cash rolls were not being generated correctly.
- Increasing Reaction or Intuition with Karma was adding more than +1 to Initiative.
- Sprites were incorrectly being forbidden from using knowsofts/linguasofts.
- The Chaser autosoft did not have a variable rating.
- If the linguist quality was present, all linguasofts would act as if they had rating 0.
- Modifications added to cyberware that wasn't standard grade weren't picking up their parent's grade.
- The Ferret RPD-1X was missing its extra modification slots.
- For skills in a skill group, the rating of the skill group wasn't being taken into account when determining if that skill had reached its maximum and was eligible for advancement.
- Some augmentation mods weren't adding their essence costs to the hero.
- Loose ammunition was not included on the printouts.
- A Wasp Shaman's spirits to summon were labeled "Termite", although they were properly set as Wasp spirits once picked.
- Insect Spirits added as independant characters were reporting an error that they shouldn't be reporting once a species was chosen.
