Upgrading Foci

You'll need to sell them for full price and re-purchase them at the new Force, I'm sorry to say.

That's easy enough on the Nuyen side. The difficulty is when my Karma is thrown out of whack from bonding a new focus instead of upgrading the current bond.
 
You can also delete the Karma cost that was added to the Advances tab, and let it get replaced by the new version.
 
Allowing upgrading foci is on my to-do list, but it's a complex project that won't be finished soon, and I'm sorry the workaround process isn't ideal right now.

On the Personal tab, In the Permanent Adjustments table at the bottom, you can add the "Advancement Karma Cost" adjustment, select the binding of this focus as the advancement to alter, and use the adjustment to change the amount of karma the advancement is charging so that it only reflects the upgrade cost.
