upgrade WHFB v8 from 1.3 to 1.7 fails

I have armybuilder v2.3d running.
For Warhammer Fantasy Battle v8 I have version 1.3

I haven't used it for some weeks and see that the latest update is 1.7.

However, when upgrading to 1.7 it says the update was OK but the warning for updates remain and the about page tells me I'm still on 1.3.

This happens on both my computers where my dual-licenses is installed.:confused:

On 1 computer I de-installed Army Builder but the reinstallation fails (i.e. I can't get the updates for the files).

Does anyone have a good suggestion?

First let me welcome you to the forums. the moderators here like things to be neat and orderly so they prefer that posts are made in the relevant forum. This being the warhammer 8th ed thread found here.

Now to answer your question.
Ignore 1.7 prompts. The file you download (which shows as 1.3) doesnt have the correct version number or fixes listed in it but is the up to date version. Also ignore the prompts to update the file again when reloading AB. This issue is being worked on.

Also the newest version of AB is 3.2d which is what im sure you meant to type
