Update Map w/o loss of RW Pins/etc.

Is there a way to update a map which has been imported into RW which has subsequently had RW pins, reveals, etc. placed on it?

Specifically, my maps are never really 100% complete. Things get added over time in Campaign Cartographer. But, if I've started using a map in RW I'd like to "update" the underlying map file without loosing any of the RW features like reveals and pins.

Provided the said map (image file) remains the same size, I would hope there is a way to accomplish this. If so, I'm just not finding it.

Am I missing something obvious?

If the graphics are the same size you can just replace it.

There's a good thread on this specific topic, but I have trouble digging things up on my phone. Hopefully you or someone else can find the right thread.

The question is, by size anyway, do you mean file size or size in pixels. My guess is the pixel count across and down needs to be exactly the same, where as file size may not matter. But if you've added things to your map, the file size may be different and you may be bumping up against the maximum file size Realm Works allows which is causing you to go to a different (lower) pixel count.

Here size means pixels: X by Y. If they're different sizes then the pins will be in the wrong place, but you can fix them afterwards.

After doing a couple searches I'm not sure which thread I was thinking of. This one is pretty straightforward about it. This has been asked quite a bit, as it turns out; DLG's is from before I started using RW. :)
