Unit Notes bug?

hrmm... i thought i had identified a bug in unit notes processing
(saving and retrieving..). but now it seems to be gone. did someone
up and fix some code whilst I was merrily enjoying the auto-update
features?

The code hasn't been updated since v2.0a came out, apart from the
stealth mind control features.
