Unit duplication

Ok in my datafiles i have three races im, ib, and ik.
and they each share 1 unit one.
currently i have three units imone, ibone, and ikone, that are identical.
is there any way to have only one unit that can be selected by all three
races but not others?

Give the unit the "race:XX" external attribute. For example, you could
keep only the 'imone' unit and give it the external attribute
"race:ib,ik".

Alternatively, you could create a generic race, XX, that you will hide
using the race special attribute, then create the unit for that race
(XXone), and assign the unit the external attribute "race:im,ib,ik"
