I have purchased the Ultimate Campaign Data Pack.
When rolling a Druid's background i get the option of accessing the Beast Bond social trait. is there any way i can input this into HL?

a little confused. what do you want to input?
if you have the ultimate campaign and you have turned it on in the hero config, it should be selectable in the trait section on the feat tab.
 
It isn't.

In the book it is part of the Beastlord background.
I have no options that I can find to input this backgound
and no Beast Bond trait

Double check that you have turned on the Ultimate Campaign source for this hero. Then that trait should be available for selection on the feats tab.

If you're using random backgrounds, then with that source on you should see a tab on the hero called History. The second set of tables on that tab is the Adolescence and training section, which should show the background options based on what class your character is.
 
Default settings only apply to characters created after they have been set, so getting a new book won't have that be enabled for pre-existing characters.
