Ultimate Campaign question

I've got a question with regard to the Ultimate Campaign character history in HL. When I try and complete the history for a character from the Advanced Class Guide(Arcanist, Bloodrager, Swashbuckler) it won't let me pick any Training. I know those classes are in the UC, but is there a way to ether pick one of the two classes that make up these ACG classes or some other way around it?

Yes. What I do is give the character a class at 1st level that you want to pick from. Then pick the background you want. Then just delete the class and pick what you really want at 1st level.
