turning an existing creature into a minion

hello guys im trying to turn the giant forest lizard from tomb of horrors 4 into a mount for cavalier. any ideas????

Yep. You rebuild the whole thing from scratch in the editor using the tab "Race->Race, Anim Comp". An Animal Companion and a monster are two very different things in the rules and in the HL editor.

So once you and your DM work out what abilities the AC has and how it will advance you can then code that into the editor. I would suggest making a copy of an existing AC like a tiger or wolf to start from.

what i was trying to do is make the giant forest lizard from tomb of horrors 4 into an AC, was hoping there was a way to just link it from AC tab to the exiting monster. :(

Nope.. but fortunately, it really doesn't take that long to duplicate a creatures stats like Shadow suggested.
