trying to sign up for HLO demo

Hello,

I am trying to sign up for the demo account. The instructions say that if I already have a Lone Wolf account that I should use that account.

I do have Hero Lab classic. And by posting this, I do seem to have a Lone Wolf account.

Am I doing something wrong? Can use my Hero Lab Classic credentials to register for the demo?

thanks!

Not a Lone Wolf person, but as a user that has been there and done that: the Lone Wolf forums, the Hero Lab Classic login, and a Lone Wolf Account are three different things. The Lone Wolf account is for Hero Lab Online or Realm Works; though once you have a Lone Wolf account you can tie your Hero Lab Classic to it, there's no functional reason to do so as yet. So you'll need to create a new account.

@charlieluce Bingo, thanks!

I purchased HLO with PF2. Is there a reason to associate my classic HL with my new account? It gives big warnings about the permanency of doing so. Is there any functionality associated with connecting classic to online?

Nothing yet, as far as I know. In the future we plan to use that association for content migration, e.g. bringing PF1 or other games to HLO (please note, we haven't announced any timeframe for doing that at this time).

It may have other functionality later on to, but I'm not recalling anything else. At any rate, I believe it's safe to hold off on doing so if you want to be sure.
