Trying to make a Shielded fighter

It keeps telling me that I dont eet the requirements for the class features, but it wont tell me WHAT I need to get to meet those requirements.

Is it a bug or am I missing something?

I even gave him a shield and Combat Expertise, but it still says I dont meet the requirements.
Stats are as follows:
Str: 16
Dex: 14
Con: 16
Int: 13
Wis: 12
Cha: 12

I don't see an issue. I created a character, added the Fighter Class, then selected the Shielded Fighter Archetype. I didn't change any stats or add feats or anything. Can you give more details of what you're doing?

On both the weapon and armor tabs, there are checkboxes to click when you want to equip the weapons and armor you are using.

From the text on the shield fighter archetype (APG, pg 108, left column): "These fighting school benefits apply when wielding a weapon and shield simultaneously"

So, go to the weapon tab and equip a weapon, and the armor tab and equip a shield.
