Trouble transferring character

Emanon67

New member
I just created an item in the editor and see it on my character on the PC.
When i transfer to to my Ipad i get the following error:

pick 'FSH4' has been orphaned due to missing thing in batch '970'

I dont understand what it means. How do i fix this?

The error message means that the special item you made couldn't be found in the available data.

I've never used HeroLab on an Ipad, but when you move things from one copy of HeroLab to another, you need to make sure to also transer the .user file where you made the new item in the editor.

On PC, the data files for HeroLab are in a different folder than the portfolios. Usually, C Drive -> ProgramData (often a hidden folder) -> Hero Lab -> data -> pathfinder (or whatever dataset you're wanting to transer)

You'll need to copy your .user file from that folder, to the corresponding folder on your other device. But like I said before, I've never used it on an Ipad, so I'm not sure if the data structure is the same on the Ipad version.
