Transfer portfolios to my iPad?

Would some kind soul point me towards directions on how to transfer my portfolios to my iPad? I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance.
 
On the iPad, at the bottom of the screen where you're choosing which character to use, click "Help on Using Hero Lab", then "How to use Hero Lab", and "How do I move characters to my iPad?"
 
To be fair, adding a more intuitive menu to the iPad app would be a good move. It took me longer than I care to admit to find the "Reactivate License". When I see "Help on Using Hero Lab" I, and I bet most users, expect to find manuals and not actual program features... and since I was already reading the manuals on the hero lab website, I didn't really need the in-app help system.
