So, is there any way to get a trait for class X to not show a validation error, for a PC who is going to multi into that class at second level, but is still at first level?

Also, just as an FYI, those traits should not go away when you choose valid options, because they do NOT require you to be a member of class X to take the trait, it just doesn't do anything until you take at least one level in that class.
