Trait Aspiring Bard - Half Elf

Hello,

I'm having an issue with the Trait "Aspiring Bard."

Aspiring Bard (Human)

You spent countless hours of your youth wandering the open campuses of the Music Academy and the Choir College, listening to wonderful musicians and singers and daydreaming of your life as a bard.

Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus to one category of Perform checks and a +2 trait bonus to any Knowledge (local) checks that deal with the local music scene.

I have the feat in my Hero Lab, and it shows properly however it's telling me invalid race when using it with a half-elf. Which normally I'd be with however Half-elfs have a racial Elf-Blood.

Elf Blood: Half-elves count as both elves and humans for any effect related to race.

So, why does Hero Lab tell me the trait is invalid, shouldn't my racial allow me to take the trait?
 
Wasn't there recently a FAQ clarifying when Half-Elves count as Human? I think the wording in it's answer can be read as pre-requisites not being an effect but is ambiguous IIRC.
 
I tried using the search function to see if I could find a post about a similar issue, but I was unsuccessful. I'm sorry if this was answered somewhere else. Mainly I didn't know if this was an intentional thing in Hero Labs, or if it was an error.
 
A pre-requsite is not an "Effect relating to race", it is a requirement, so the Elf Blood ability does not allow this.
