Tracker Tab.

Well now, this is new.

So how do I best make use of this?

I have a racial special ability, that grants Fast Healing 1 for 1+ CHA Bonus/Rounds per Day.

the Tracker Tab was easy enough to figure out but I'm not sure how to link my new tracked item to the racial ability. Is it an eval script?

Why would you want to use a tracker for a racial ability instead of having you ability show in Tracked resources table itself?

I have no idea. I just wanted to try out the new tab :)
I'm assuming now that I don't want to do this?
I think its more we are confused by the "wording" you are using. Can you maybe show a picture? I don't know of any "new tab" that is in HL. So confused sorry.... :(

heh. Sorry.

It's been a while since I was working on my user files and I saw this tab in the General section.

I was wondering what it was used for. I have a racial ability that is a tracked resource and I wondered if it could be created here - but that's probably not the case, judging from Aaron's reply.

So if you look at the top above the "Tracker" tab it has 'help' information about what a tracker is:

When it says all "Must be added by something else" it means you must bootstrap this Tracker onto another "Thing" (ie Feat, Class Ability, Gear item) something that gets "added" to a character.

Aaron is saying that Tracker is not always needed as a Racial Abiilty, Feat, or Class Ability has the "Tracker" logic built in. You can turn this on by saying "Show in Tracked Resources". A tracker is just more generic and useful if "multiple" different Things could add the same tracker.

In example "Grit/Luck/Panche" is setup as Tracker as its able to be bootstrapped by multiple classes as a single place to track Grit/Luck/Panche...

Hope that helps.
