Timeouts when synchronizing with server

Today I made fresh installation and tried to synchronize all realms with the server. The total size of my DB is ~1.3GB. I never managed to get full run and had constant timeouts. I know there has been some maintenance of Hero Labs, but nothing was mentioned about RW and it still plagues me few hours later.

Some issues that have caused this in the past, assuming the server is up
1) is your connection over WiFi?
2) Have you checked the stability and strength of your connection if wired?
 
This used to happen to me a lot. And before we see more of the "its your internet" it happened on many boxes on many different internets. My work enterprise, my LTE cellular, my home DSL, and friends DSL.

I usually just did the sync again and it worked, or shall we say completed. Sometimes it took several tries consecutively if it was a big sync.

It has been a while that I have been able to even use RW though, I am now completely out of luck on my main realm and have been in neutral for sometime with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Best I can offer is just keep on sync'ing! It always seemed to eventually complete.

Have you tried one realm at a time?
At least you'll know where you are at any one time :)
 
Yes, one realm at a time worked, but not if I had full sync. For more than year of active using I never had such issue, therefore posted here. Looked weird. I tried from 2 different ISPs, as I have redundant connectivity at home.

Now seems OK, but the updates I make and sync are from me to the server, not vice versa. Might reinstall it on the other machine just to see if this happens again or not. :)
 
People have reported this a lot with full syncs. Whether its some sort of time out somewhere or network instability has never been clear.
