Not that specialized. All you need is a "break on value change" option for a
particular column.

That way L5R players can do it per card type or faction, and Magic players can
do it per type or color, etc.

Agreed, except that it opens up a huge can of worms. Now the UI has to
allow the user to break on various criteria. And no user is going to be
happy with just a single criteria, such as you suggest. The domino effect
mushrooms and users expect us to write our own mini report writer tool as
part of CV. That's something that's very low on the priority list right
now, since there are lots of highly useful features that need to be added
first.
