Text can be hard to read

I have a bit of a problem with one of my eyes currently.
This means I find it yhard to read small text if the colours are not normal.
I find the help text of black outlined in white on grey to be particularly difficult.

It would be helpful if there was some way to adjust the font size and/or colours.
 
Even without problematic eyes (no glasses yet..post-40!), the text is small and the colors tend to make things worse.

I agree, the application would be much improved by providing font size/color options.

IMO, the Tactical Console could be prioritized since it is a separate window form and either resized completely or add resizing/font sizing options.
