Table Imports

Well-known member
I have sets of data, such as the Deities of Golarion. They all have common fields such as alignment, domains, favored weapons, and so on.

I can VERY easily put all of this into a spreadsheet, and I wish there was some way to "slurp" a spreadsheet into Realm Works, including with tags.

I'm still trying to get a feel for my way around, but a "table view" of a group would help me make sure I have consistent information on the members within the group. I would hate to just do copies of a complete group member and screw up not changing the data of the new member.

There may be a way to accomplish this more easily, but at the moment I'm more fumbling around than anything.

Being able to import a list from a spreadsheet would be great!

Say if you had a list of characters, this would be a great way to create several topics at once!

+1

Yes Either a full blown spread sheet, or alternately some sort of table, if not the ability to add columns in the text snippet, or even just being anle to use tabs inside a snippet. anything to help with table or charts.
IE. making a table of distances and travel times between cities. currently using just space to make the chart looks like kobold droppings as you cannot make the separate rows/columns line up.

Courier New is a non-proportional font, which means each character takes the same amount of width.

When I need to align things, I use it. Not the prettiest font, but it is better than Kobold Droppings

Verdana

+1 for data import. Pulling from a spreadsheet or CSV would be super helpful. And just as importantly, it's a step towards exporting data.

I don't think I expressed myself clearly.

What I was trying to say was that printing is exporting the data, just with whatever data the printer needs, so up until that stage you wouldn't need to replicate the function. Just add on the printer data. (I'm aware that it's probably more more technical than that.) :)
