M&M 3rd ed. Summon Vehicle Power, software question

My uploaded screen shot shows how the summon vehicle power is supposed to work. However, in hero labs when you buy ranks of the power, it gives you a minion and not a vehicle to edit on the sheet. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but minions function very differently to vehicles. For example, you can't easily buy size for 1 power point on a minion, nor can you buy the defense stat.

Does anyone have a way to fix this in the herolabs software?

The good news is that it's easy to set up a version of Summon that bootstraps a Custom Vehicle in. The bad news is that I don't see any way to get the "free" Equipment points or a maximum value for the vehicle, as with Minions.
