Suffixes recognized as part of name for linking

Would be nice to have prefixes automatically added as an alternate name for a topic. So it would be easy to have locations linked by typing the suffix. For example if i have an area "X17 - Very bad stuff happens here" where X17 is the prefix I could later refer to it typing "X17" and link detection recognizes that. I know that I can add it manually to the names but that is very time consuming for many topics.

I put the room number into the prefix, not the suffix.
A lot of the published (free) imports put the name of the publication into the suffix.

Maybe just a quicker way of typing in a single alternate name would provide what you are looking for.
