Suddenly unable to update from http://www.shadowsoftware.net/herolab/d20pfsrd/updates

When I check for updates I get the following error:

Error while retrieving http://www.shadowsoftware.net/herolab/d20pfsrd/updates.xml:

Does anyone know why off hand?

I looked for news here and tried to look at Shadowsoftware.net (which takes me to a weird page), and I have found no answers.

If this is the exact URL you are using then its invalid as it has a : at the end.

Make sure the URL is exactly this:

http://www.shadowsoftware.net/herolab/d20pfsrd/updates.xml

Its possible my site was down temporally but it appears back up for me now. You can also test by using a normal web browser and following the LINK. It will display a un-formated XML but it will display. This is helpful in making sure that a antivirus or MS defender is not blocking the site.

Thanks for the quick response ShadowChemosh. You are correct, that was the url the error was throwing, with the : at the end (kinda silly I didn't notice that). I checked the link you provided and I can see your page. I checked the url in the "Add Source" Option of my hero lab and the url displays correctly.

It must have been a hiccup with my HL previously, because it is working fine now!
