Stuck on a "Thingid"

Exmortis

Well-known member
Good day all,

I am building a custom Yokal Archetype to conform to the Rise of the Rune Lords Players guide to what 6 monsters the party should be prepared to face. The Yokal class allows a GM to modify its 6 favoured enemy list (kinda special that its 6 on both side do yo not think!)

I cannot for the life of me guess the thingid for the favoured enemy Monstrous Humanoid. I have tried feMonHum, feMonsHum, feHumMon, and feMonsHum.

If anyone knows I would be forever in your debt! Its the last tweak and it is done.

Thanks so much!

Can you make ranger, add Monstrous Humanoid as its favored enemy, and then right click on it to show it's id?

Go to "Develop -> Enable Data File Debugging" and check that. Then when you right click on something the 4th option is "Copy Unique ID"

That was the trick I needed, thanks Aaron, and thanks Fuzzy if I had the right setting turned on, you were right on the money.

I know your been around for a bit Exmortis but I would suggest watching the Intro Video#3 as I go over the Debugging tools at about 4:40 minutes in. Including how to find "field" and tags on different Picks. :)

Been around here for a while, does not equate to "knowing everything". So I will take the advice and watch the videos.

My editing so much in HL came as a slow progression, not intentional from the get go, so I never did actually take the time to watch the videos, which is probably the crux of my knowledge gaps.

No issues. I was just trying to say it in a nice way encase you had watched all those videos already. Lots of hidden gems in them but HL is a little overwhelming at first to learn. :)
