SR 5th ed. Streetline Special Specialization

The Streetline Special appears to be a semi-automatic holdout utilizing a magazine ('clip'). However, it does not apply the Semi-automatics skill specialization when calculating dice pool.

All other hold-outs appear to be either single action derringers or revolver based platforms so it could be a simple oversight or am I missing something?

Core rulebook, pg. 132, the Pistols skill lists the following:

Specializations: Holdouts, Revolvers, Semi-Automatics, Tasers

So going by that, I'd say holdouts and tasers are their own specialties, however they function, and only the light and heavy pistols are divided by the type of action.

However Core Rulebook, pg. 129

Characters can have multiple specializations within the same skill, but one applies at a time. For example, a character with the Blades skill who specializes in Axes and Parrying would only receive a +2 dice bonus to tests when parrying with an axe

Going by that, Specializations are not something where its separated from each other. If someone had an Axe Specialization and they parried with the axe, they wouldn't also need parry specialization to get the +2.

Likewise, holdouts would cover anything hold out. But Semi Auto would cover anything Semi Auto and using the Pistol Skill. Which means if you've got a SS revoler, it would work. But it would work with a SA Holdout, Light or Heavy Pistol.
