I would suggest to attempt to streamine input options. For example
CTRL + ENTER = "adds another one of this kind"
This would work in all places, e.g
aliases = you can directly enter the next alias
snippet (text) = as today
snippet (some other) = adds another snippet of this kind
tags = allows to add another tag
Maybe there could be many more of such input options, best to organise some kind of table. If this gets priotised I could then see that ppl make the effort to make suggestions for good combos, maybe suggesting a large table that lists good shortcuts etc.
