Storing Equipment on Mount in iPad App

MRR

New member
My less-than-beefy wizard just acquired a riding horse and was looking to store some of his equipment in its saddlebags. My issue is that, after adding the horse to my character using the iPad app and transferring the saddlebags, saddle, and other gear to the horse (using the "move gear", "give to hero" series of commands), none of this gear is accessible through the app. If I transfer the character profile back to my PC I can see the gear on the horse, but that's not going to be of much use mid-game when I'm on my tablet and need to figure out how many days of trail rations I had stored on the horse, etc. etc.

Thanks for any help!

Ahh - I actually hadn't really noticed the "switch hero" link at the top of the main screen. I was looking for something in the "Edit Gear" -> "Other" tab where the mount is displayed. Now that I've checked out that button things seem to be working fine. Thanks!

Sorry for the "newbie" mistake; still getting used to how the app operates, but it's been wonderful to have for my gaming sessions thusfar.

Another idea for my Paladin is put in a "- Custom Container -" on the gear tab and name it "Horse - Vengeance" in example. Then I can just put some items like my lance and stuff onto the horse because I don't carry it around. But the weapon is still easily available on my character if I suddenly need it.

I've had some fun issues with storing equipment as well. For example, my vampiric that needs to conceal their coffin, couldn't because the coffin is what I think is called a top-tier item. It should fit nicely in a large enough bag of holding. The editor made it easy enough to alter the existing coffin data and give it a new name.

Still, I wouldn't have called it a top-tier item. And maybe my solution would work for the OP?
