I've read the definition in kit_definition.htm under "Stat Sets":
As long as one or more "identity" unit stats is being displayed in a column for a given unit, all of the unit stats are output in the corresponding columns, even if only one of the unit stats is being shown for the unit. The moment that zero "identity" unit stats are being shown in columns, all unit stats in the stat set are rendered as a line of text with appropriate labels prior to each unit stat. In general, the goal is to mark as few unit stats as possible as "identity", but there will usually be a small number for every stat set other than the default stat set used by most units.
However, I just don't "get it." Can someone explain it in another way?
It sounds like you need to designate at least one stat in each statset as having "identity," but I don't know how you choose which one, or what effect this has.
