My stats display as, say, Str: 2/5, when the base value is 2 and the
adjusted (items, options, etc) value is 5... its annoying. i ONLY
want it to display the new total (i.e. the adjusted value), no #/#
shiznit ;) is there a way to do that? or at least a way to get around
it? because I noticed that some other game systems have fixed this,
but all their datadefs (where i assume this option is?) are locked or
i just cant figure em out! ;) thanks

To do this, either use the 'base' attribute instead of the 'stat' attribute
when adding to statistics, or consult the Construction Kit Manual for the
'Include In Base' part of the stat definition (page 19).

Hehe yes I had read the part about include in base, and done that,
but it didn't help. What DID work, however, was using "base:" instead
of "stat:" ;) Although I had just figgured that out about the time
you posted. Thanks though!
