Spell Slots

Let's assume that I have a wizard with a 14 Intelligence and I'm level 10. I have a few 5th level spell slots available to use. How do I prepare spells in those slots? How can I use metamagic feats to put those lower level spells into those spell slots?
 
Metamagic feats are applied through the "Custom / Metamagic Spell" that is the first thing on the list when choosing the spells to prepare.

The higher level slots can be moved to lower level slots with a few copies of the "Spells Cast per Day" adjustment from the "Other Adjustments" list on the Adjust tab - one to reduce the number of 5th level spells, another to add those slots to another level.
