Spell Perfection + Heighten Spell

I'm not sure if this would be a bug or a feature request so I'm posting instead of creating a bug report.

While attempting to maximize a spell's DC by using Heightened Spell + Spell Perfection, Spell Perfection is negating the level increase and resetting the spell back to it's original level. The spell DC is not increased.

Manually altering which level spell slot the spell is memorized in does not adjust spell DC

Adding a second metamagic feat with a lower DC adjustment still results in Heighten Spell's level increase being negated. There does not seem to be a mechanism by which I can choose which metamagic feat does not adjust spell level.

Would it be a bug that Spell Perfection is negating Heighten Spell?

Or would it be a feature request to be able to choose which metamagic feat Spell Perfection cancels the level increase on, or to simply choose not to cancel the level increase of any applied metamagic feat?
