space marines and allies?

space marines can be allied with both daemon hunters and witchhunters (not at same time though) but for some reason AB version 3 wont let me do it..is this a bug or am i not doing something right?? any help would be helpfull, thank you

Have you tried the "Select Allies..." option under the "Roster" menu?
