Won't happen. It will be released when it's ready. It's a reason I just paid for a license when I bought army builder initially. After that, I just update manually.

If they had hard dates, they would get hard cash.

The Beta version of the latest file update is currently downloadable from the ab40k site. It's not ready for general release though; it contains many bugs which you can see listed there too. Use with caution and eyes open. And please report any new bugs you find to the guys over there.

It isn't quite fair to consider it a beta verison, it is the first general release of the Space Wolves files. The first beta test was done prior to the release, but obviously what 3 or so pairs of eyes can't find (probably due to non-Space Wolves players doing the testing) - the 1308 pairs (according the last download count) of rabid Space Wolves players will be sure to test the file to the utmost. Thus, this is the primary reason for the staggered release.

We know that any new release is bound to have some errors creeping through it, and while we don't keep any types of records apart from the bug tracker (and as that gets changed and updated, it is not a true gauge) I think that the IG was probably the most thorough of the files due to the rather unique way in which is was done (one maintainer built the framework to near completion and another picked up afterwards and finalized it). But even then, there were a small amount of errors after initial release.

In the future we may be expanding the beta test program to include others apart from the maintainers and our "in-house" beta test team to help improve the first release. Please stay tuned to our website (www.ab40k.org) for future announcements (i.e., do not pound me or other maintainers with "pick me" email requests)...
