The magic item Snapleaf does not take up a body slot, it is just worn. However on the In Play tab, it is grayed out because it is not equipped. How do you equip it then? There is no check box next to the item, like there is for wands...

The item is found in Ultimate Equipment
 
Sounds like a bug to me, the general rule is if you think it MIGHT be a bug, report a bug and let Lone Wolf sort it out.
 
OK, I have had situations in the past where it thought it was a bug only to find out that I didn't have a certain option selected...felt like I was wasting their time with a bug report
