Small Sized Aasimar, Small Equipment?

So, I have a small sized aasimar I'm converting over. I added a "Race Size Category" Permanent Adjustment. However, whenever I try to buy my weapons and armor it comes in Medium (and weighing normal medium weights) even after I go into customize and change to small before buying them.

What gives? Has anyone figured this out? I submitted a bug report already.
 
Currently the group I'm GMing is an all Halfing group. I've put in several bug reports about small sized equipment. It's especially irksome that you can't change the size of an item after you have purchased it. I don't mean the PC bought it and has been using it for six months. I mean player purchased item, went in and edited the item, making all the changes they need and then realized that the size was wrong and that cannot be changed at any point but at purchase.

A weapon can be edited from at any later point from Darkwood to Mithral but not change the size? It is "set" at purchase? This seems stupid. Bug report was filed and then closed with no explanation. Sigh.
