I'm trying to add an edge that allows the player to pick between two options:

Fighting d6 or Shooting d6

I've tried a few things, but can't figure out how to do this.

Best method, almost the only method really, is to make 2 Edges. Just call them something like "Edge (Fighting)" and "Edge (Shooting)" to distinguish.

Check out the Half-Elf race. It's set up that way since there are two different options you can choose for it. This really all gets back into that whole ability to conditionally bootstrap something which the Savage Worlds setting for Hero Lab isn't really set up to do from the discussions we've had here. It can hide things that have already been bootstrapped and then conditionally reveal them, but it can't just bootstrap something based on a selection like that. You can get it to modify things based on selections, just not bootstrap them.

Well, that's not the answer I was hoping for, but if that's the only way to do it, then it is what it is.

Thanks for your help.
