Is there some way to show how skills are calculated?

I cannot figure out how to do this? How I calculate one of my skill scores differs from what Hero Lab is telling me. The difference does not appear to be an encumbrance issue. I used the conditional setting to remove the encumbrance setting.

Since I'm bad at math I'm inclined to believe Hero Lab is right, but I want to understand where I'm screwing up.

Do you have any of the skill boosting feats other than Skill Focus. Feats like Acrobatic and such sometimes increase their bonus by double when you have a certain number of ranks in a skill. It always catches me up when making some monsters and anything higher than low level characters.

Also, even if you have turned off encumbrance, the armor check penalty of the armor you are wearing would apply, I think.

Thanks for the help, Chris and Silveras. I do have Skill Focus on and that's accounted. I don't have any armor check penalty so that's not upsetting the math.

I guess I'll just have to rely on my own math since I don't understand HeroLab's Skill Math.

can you give us the exact math you are getting and the number HeroLab is sending out?

Lead 82: We need more details about what you are doing to try and figure out what's going on this so that it can be replicated and solved.

Also did you account for character traits / flaws? Those can add skill bonuses, as can magical equipment and items. I am afraid you haven't given enough information for anyone to actually help you without being able to first replicate the situation causing you problems.
