Short list of bonus feats for a custom race?

As the title says, I have a custom race that grants bonus feats. I'd like these feats to only be chosen from a specific list of 8 or so, but they all get lumped together with the standard character feats. If my race grants 4, I have 5 feats at level 1.

I'm not sure if there's a way to separate the racial bonus feats from the ones for character level, similar to how classes with bonus feats have theirs appear on the class page (fighter). If there is, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction to set it up.
 
The only way I can think of to do this would be to create a helper feat that you bootstrap to the race, then use that feat as a chooser to select another feat.
