I need help implementing a house rule regarding shapeshifters. In our game the attribute modifiers only affect the animal form but yiu buy only one set of attributes. is there a way to do that in hero lab?
 
As a quick and easy way to handle this, on the Adjust tab, add several copies of the Attribute adjustment, and set them up so that they cancel out the attribute modifiers for that shapeshiter race. Then when you switch to being a human, turn them all on, and when you switch back to being an animal, turn them all off.

In the editor, the shapeshifter options are on the "Racial Mods" tab. You can copy them, set the copies as replacements of the originals, and then adjust the way your copies work - remove all the attribute modifiers that are set up (since those will apply all the time), and instead, use a script to apply those modifiers only while animal form is turned on.
