SFS "bonus" reputation

The Journal entry page has sections to enter bonus reputation; you've got slots to say how much to add to your 1st and 2nd bonus factions, and pull-downs to enter which factions these are. However when we use the pull-downs the only options available are "unspecified" and whichever faction is currently slotted as the champion boon. What have we missed?
 
On the factions list, have you added each faction you want to add reputation to, in addition to the faction that's your 1st level pick, so that Hero Lab has somewhere to store the reputation for that particular faction?
