SF2e - When will the Mecianic and Technomancer Playtest be added?

Is there news on a timeline for when the Mechanic and Technomacer Playtest material will be added? I just bought the Galaxy Guide, and I wanted to make a mechanic...

From the Discord server:
Q. "Is the mechanic and technomancer playtest going to be available in HLO?"
LW A: "We'll see in the future, no guarantees but I'd like to if possible."

Thanks so much for this! I have so many Discords I am a part of it is hard to keep track of things.

It is a bit frustrating, because the competitors Demiplane Nexus and Hephaistos 2E both have the Technology classes playtest available.

Sorry, I've been busy and haven't been checking in here like I used to since I field a lot of things more actively on the discord. Yeah, as Tarmor posted and I replied on the forum, but to confirm, I'd like to get them in but need to be sure we're looking good for the SF2 and Battlecry releases first. Technomancer also looks pretty straightforward, while Mechanic has some complications that will take more time, so we'll see.

One of the major issues with playtest content is that it takes quite a bit of time to build new classes, and usually they're coming out around other releases. Normal book releases work since that content is part of the time allocated to that book, but playtest stuff is additional tasks, so it can be kind of awkward to slot in. If it was all just text and not mechanics, that'd be easier, but I'd rather not cut the corner.

That all said, I'd LIKE to be doing the playtest classes in general, so we're going to be discussing how certain aspects will be handled (in SF1 we have two version of the class for instance, but I'm not keen on that). It's all still subject to mainline releases, but that's my goal.
