Server down?

Thank you for reporting this. I've sent out the alert and I'll post an update as soon as I have one.

Let's hear it for online-dependent software!
Indeed. When I read the first post this morning I fired up RW to see...and it said it couldn't start because it couldn't connect to the server. ::sigh::

(At least I didn't lose any files when I installed 1809.)

Guess I have the super special version of RW. I pressed the work offline button and continued working on PF2 Realm without any need of connecting to the server.

It appears it wants to connect to the server when you make machine changes, like when you install new Windows 10 major versions. It refuses to run if it can't connect, so I never made it to the Launcher while the server was down. Thus no Working Offline.

For future reference (and to ease my searching in the future, as I forgot to write down the text when I got the error :), here are the dialogs you get if you try to run Realm Works when it it feels your computer has changed and it cannot talk to the server:

Realm Works No Connection 1.png
Unable to contact the server to properly register this machine. Realm Works cannot continue until the machine has been properly registered with the server.

Realm Works No Connection 2.png
Realm Works is exiting as it cannot continue without contacting the server.

Personally, it would be nice if you could continue read-only with an otherwise valid master.realm file, but I don't see them enabling that due to piracy. :(
